During their trip to Madryn the students had to comply with some written tasks to integrate their travelling experiences and feelings with their knowledge of the English language. Some of the students agreed to share the poems they wrote while spending some time in this amazing site.

I have smelt the
salty smell of the
deep, dark sea

shiny stars in the
big, blue sky
 
I have touched the
common, dry

I´ve seen the majestic whales
in the colosal sea

I´ve heard the sound of the seawaves
while I watched the stars floating in the sky

I´ve touched the wet sand
with rough shells

I´ve smelt the strong scent of the sea
while I walked along the beach

I´ve tasted green, slimy seaweed
on the infinite beach

Being together with my friend
in the beautiful fresh nature.

I´ve touched the hard rocks with my feet
And the sun burning my skin
You might think I´m crazy
But the wet sand stroking my feet felt my incompleteness

I´ve heard noises around the coast
And the shouting of the wind
You might think I´m delirious
But the whales lament my huge loss

I´ve smelt the sea
And the scent of fresh seaweed
You might think I´m foolish
But the sea elephants sensed my fear

I´ve tasted my bitter tears
And the caramel sunset
You might think I´m miserable
But all the birds flew like my heart

I´ve seen the shiny stars
And the enormous beach
You might think I´m lost
But what I really want is YOU.
